One of the common challenges we face as solar installers is limited roof space combined with a roof orientation that is not ideally aligned with the south-facing direction. In such cases, we optimize the PV system through proper panel layout, azimuth and tilt-angle considerations, string configuration, MPPT allocation, and careful assessment of potential shading losses to maximize solar irradiation capture and overall energy yield. When necessary, we can also optimize the available roof area by utilizing additional metal-work framing or elevated mounting structures to accommodate more PV's.
